Who Are Direct Support Professionals?
- They are healthcare professionals extensively trained to assist adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) to live their best lives.
- They help Delawareans with I/DD to live and work in their communities and provide valuable contributions to our state.
- They work for Community Service Providers who are contracted partners with the state and rely on accurate reimbursement rates to pay the cost of providing those services.
