About Forward Journey

With full-time onsite nursing and assistive technology, participants can engage in a variety of personalized, enriching activities while also enhancing functional mobility. Forward Journey uses the innovative MOVE™ program (Mobility Opportunities Via Education/Experience) to incorporate movement throughout the day. We’re proud to be the first MOVE™ for Adults Model Site in Delaware, and third worldwide.

Forward Journey is a certified provider of adult day habilitation services through the Delaware Division of Developmental Disabilities Services (DDDS). Reimbursements cover a portion of our costs. This is enough to make our program functional, but not a great place to spend the day. As a 501(c) 3 nonprofit, we rely on donations to fund the extras to make it an extraordinary day. We have locations in New Castle and Kent Counties, and our vision is to expand throughout Delaware.
